The Darkhan Metallurgical Plant JSC launched a massive project to build a “Regional Mining and Metallurgy Complex” and through this initiative the company aims to develop and modernize the industrially developed regions of Darkhan-Selenge province, introduce technological advances, and to increase the production capacity of the iron ore mines which would ultimately enhance the economic potential of the iron ores located in this region.
